Plenty of walking trails to get your daily run or walk in; hang up your "Gon' Fishin' sign and hit the lake! Barr Lake State Park 13401 Picadilly Road Brighton, CO 80603 Ph: (303) 659-6005 Visit us! Come enjoy the 8.8 mile trail that goes around the lake. This trail is bicyclist, horseback rider, and hiker friendly. Tons of wildlife viewing stations to try and sport a Bald Eagle, just one of 350 species of birds that have been spotted at the park. Another great fishing spot! Boaters welcome! |

The aquatic park features a climbing wall, 2 water slides, a lazy river with zero depth entry, wave generator, deep water area, tot leisure pool with zero depth entry and interactive play features, water basketball play area. There is a full concession stand, although you may bring in your own food (no glass containers or alcohol permitted). Lockers are available for rental. Party packages and pavilion rentals are available as well. |

The Dunes is a Sottish style links course with plenty of pot bunkers, mounds, water, and the natural trademark railroad ties meandering along the South Platte River. The Knolls is a traditional park-style layout that features many hazards, trees and elevated greens. The Riverdale Golf Courses are critically acclaimed in magazines such as Golf Magazine, The Colorado Golfer Newspaper, and Golf Digest just to name a few. |
