Carmichael Park, 650 East Southern Street
The City of Brighton's inaugural Art in the Park festival is a one-day art festival which takes place at Carmichael Park in Brighton, Colorado. It is funded by a Brighton Lodging Tax grant and is a city-sponsored event planned by the art community. Visioning meetings are held with artists to determine the scope and logistical needs of the event.
The City of Brighton has dedicated staff support to help assist in the development of the event. The festival features an artist market, youth mural project, art-in-progress, performance stage, coordinated activity zone, and Culinary Avenue featuring cuisine served by the area’s most popular and highly rated food trucks. Art vendors will include various painting mediums, photography, pottery, graphic arts, sculptures, jewelry, fused glass and much, much more.
Over 100 artists will be available to show, sell and demonstrate their work. Many of the artists are well known locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
The festival is free to the public with plenty of free parking on the street and in the lots near the park
