The City of Brighton’s Eye for Art program has announced its selections for the “Spectacles of Spring” art exhibit at Brighton City Hall, located at 500 S. 4th Ave. No artwork is exhibited from January 8-12 during art transition week. The blank walls remind us how important artwork is to the beauty in our surroundings when it is missing. Please stop by at opening January 15, 2018
Show Opening: Monday, January 15 - May 5, 2018 Open weekdays Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm (Closed Holidays) with over 225 pieces of exciting new artwork from 73 Local and Regional artists.
The “Spectacles of Spring” art exhibit features unique artwork that celebrates our agricultural roots and spectacular visions through artistic eyes. Created in vivid oils, acrylics, inks, watercolors, graphite/color pencil, vibrant photography, feather art, fused glass and jewelry. Artwork is available for purchase and are ready to enhance your home or business with a splash of winter and spring colors in original artwork.
This exhibit is free to the public.
Meet the Artists: The public is invited to meet the artists of this exquisite show at a reception Friday February 2nd from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. at City Hall. Come and visit with the artists and learn more about Brighton’s continuing growth and regional impact on the art community.
